Dianne Beauchamp


Dianne K. Beauchamp grew up in South Carolina and attended Clemson University. Upon graduation from college, Ms. Beauchamp lived in Columbus, Ohio before moving to the Eastern Shore of Maryland in 1978. Ms. Beauchamp worked for the State of Maryland, first as a laboratory assistant, then as an environmental health specialist in two counties prior to attending law school.

Ms. Beauchamp attended Widener University School of Law, graduating in 1996. During law school, Ms. Beauchamp interned for the Legal Aid Bureau, Circuit Court for Somerset County, and worked as a legal assistant for Barbara R. Trader, P.A. Upon graduating from law school, Ms. Beauchamp was a judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Daniel M. Long, in the Circuit Court for Somerset County. Upon completion of the clerkship, Ms. Beauchamp went into private practice in the Law Firm of Barbara R. Trader, where she practiced Family Law, representing clients in Wicomico, Dorchester, Somerset, and Worcester Counties. MS. Beauchamp completed mediation training in 2001, and has been conducting family law and other mediations as a regular part of her practice.

Civil litigation in Wicomico, Dorchester, Somerset, and Worcester Counties relating to family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, alimony, marital property, guardianship, domestic violence proceedings, etc. Served as child counsel for alleged disabled individuals in guardianship proceedings. Experienced mediator, providing mediation services for the Circuit Courts in Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset Counties, and the District Courts in Wicomico and Somerset Counties.
